NEMT Dispatcher

Key Responsibilities

Efficiently Dispatch Trips: Use unit hour data and scheduling tools to assign trips in the most effective and timely manner possible.

Ensure Full Coverage: Respond to same-day trip requests by leveraging available vehicles and crews to meet demand.

Use Technology Intelligently: Operate platforms such as Logis Dispatching, DocsInk Messaging, and ePro Scheduler to manage live dispatch and employee schedules.

Monitor and Optimize: Follow move-up plans, direct units to fuel/restock at appropriate times, and minimize end-of-shift delays.

Support Field Operations: Communicate clearly with field associates and ensure all time stamps are properly logged; escalate non-compliance to supervisors.

Proactive Communication: Notify clients of delays or late arrivals before issues escalate, maintaining transparency and professionalism.

Customer Feedback: Log compliments and complaints through ePro Incident Reports to help improve service quality.

Coordinate with Fleet: Work closely with the Fleet Department to ensure efficient rotation of vehicles in and out of service.

Maintain Professionalism: Uphold courteous, clear communication with clients, crew members, and internal teams at all times.

What We’re Looking For

High school diploma required; college coursework or equivalent experience preferred

Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
-
Excellent organization, critical thinking, and multitasking ability
-
Prior dispatch experience in EMS, NEMT, or transportation preferred
-
Familiarity with Microsoft Office (especially Excel and Word)
-
Ability to interpret reports and performance indicators such as RescueNet (RN) and High Performance Indicators (HPI)

Comfortable with technology and quick to learn new tools

A calm and positive attitude—even under pressure

A team-first mindset and desire to serve others​
